Due to the nature of Greasy leather a layer of Dubbin may be required to achieve the pictured look.

Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

This is my second pair

"This is my second pair from Solovair. I had to get rid of the first pair I bought which is a pair of the Hi-Shine Gibson because the coating got separated from the leather and it looks bad. I then purchased these Greasy Gibson based on the review online saying that the problem I had won’t be happening on this pair. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again even with the Greasy pair. It’s such a shame because I already spent too much money on these just for me to get disappointed."

"Unfortunately these shoes were far too narrow for me despite me ordering a half size up from my usual. Thought I just needed to break them in but after 10 days of wear they were hurting the soles of my feet so badly I could not bear to put them on. Felt like a raised edge on each side of the footbed digging in to my soles. Nice shoes, just not for my feet."

"Despite having my heels covered in blisters, it’s worth it to have a high quality, British made shoe. I know they’re going to last me and they’re great to look at. I would say I was expecting a little more texture from the “grain” but they look quite classy."

Great Looking and Well Made

"I bought the gaucho crazy horse variant and they are great! Also purchased the care kit with dubbin wax for maintain them. I was surprised with the delivery time - ordered them last thursday (18. 06) from Bulgaria and they arrved the next day :) I followed the instructions for the sizing and for my third time wearing them i still experience pain in the pinky finger (i hope this will dissapear after break in period) Overall - great looking and very well made shoe!"

"My first impression is that it feels and looks premium. It is well constructed, though not entirely perfect. I have only worn it once, and it was not as comfortable as I expected, but I do believe it will get better over time.
